I am married to loving Giridharakrishna Bhatta. I have two beautiful daughters Rashmi and Rhiya, who always cooperate with me. My husband is my strength. He has always encouraged me and helped me in my learning process. I was computer illiterate until my marriage. Immediately after our marriage, he enrolled me in a computer institute to learn the basics of computer. I learnt DOS and WORD from that institute.
Then we moved to Malaysia as my husband got a very good job offer. I was getting bored at home. So I joined University of MALAYA, Kuala Lumpur to continue my studies. I worked as research assistant and joined the university to do M.Phil in anti corrosion of metals. My Guide was late Pro. Radhakrishnan, relative of great Nobel Prize winner Sir. C.V.Raman. I came to know that Pro. Radhakrishnan expired recently. He was very supportive. He always helped Indians in Malaysia for higher education. During my research, it was a must to know about computers. So I was forced to learn more about computers. Instead of doing research in Anticorrosion, I landed up doing research in computers. This is when I developed a passion for computers.
My husband bought me, my first computer and I started learning at home. I spoilt it too many times. My husband patiently got it repaired. Because of some problems, I could not continue in university. So I started spending my time at home learning computers.
Now we are in AbuDhabi, UAE from past 11 years. Slowly I learnt through internet audio and video editing. I am very crazy about music. Lata Mangeshkar is my favorite singer. I love Bhajans sung by Pandit Jasraj. It gives me spiritual tranquility. My craziness to music has forced me more to know more about computers. I wanted to collect them at any cost, the one which I liked.
So I learnt how to convert cassettes to CDs. Now I can extract music from any source, be it a DVD or TV or VCR or anything. Then I found good music in internet which can't be downloaded. So I learnt to get them too.
Slowly I switched to video editing. I started with shrinking video from DVD9 To DVD5. Then extracting different movies from different DVDS and putting them together in one DVD with menus.
Then I learnt to convert videos from one format to another and make it playable in standard video players. Now I am able to capture videos from the sites which doesn't allow to download. If capturing is impossible, still I have them through recording.
During this period, I came to know more about electronic devices. A Pakistani shopkeeper has helped me to get knowledge about electrical accessories. This knowledge helped me to build my collection bigger.
I learnt basics of networking from my brother- in- law Uday. He taught me how to access any PC in any part of the world {only with owner's permission }. This has helped my viewers in my blog site to get help from me in solving computer problems. I have created small wireless network at home. So I can communicate wirelessly with computer and TV and laptop. I record TV programs, convert them to avi and upload to blog site. I learnt transmitting music from computer to radio through FM Modulator so that I can hear them at any corner of my house.Recently I learnt about network storage so that I need not switch on the computer to watch videos or hear audios which are stored in my hard disk. I can access the files even when the PC is switched off.
I wanted to create my own website from long time. But I didn't know how to create, and on what topic I should publish. First I created a page in facebook, with the name NDTV Ramayan. Not many visitors visited my page. So I changed to Gurmeet Choudhary & Debina - Ndtv Ramayan. Since Guemeet Choudhary is very famous actor for his natural acting, many visitors started visiting my page. I was just copying the link from youtube and posting the episodes of Ramayan in order. I had stopped watching daily soaps from long time. But the serial Geet which is aired in STARONE, on the concept of HONOUR KILLING attracted me. In this serial, I was attracted by Gurmeet's natural acting. It inspired me to open my first blog. I came to know that viewers from US, UK and some other parts of the world are getting episodes which are one week older than the episodes aired in India.I got the subject for my blog. I started recording the videos and uploading them in my blog and learnt how to arrange the layout of a blog.This is a trial blog with which I am learning some new settings everyday.
